For over the past twenty years, Sherif has worked in the field of antique framing, acquiring intimate familiarity with period frames of both American and European profiles. Sherif holds a Masters degree in Fine Arts and has extensive knowledge in art and art history, drawn upon in research and recreation of period examples. His extensive skills include carving, compo making, various gilding techniques from water gilding to verre eglomise, as well as an assortment of period patination methods. Sherif's studio and workshop are located just 30 minutes outside Philadelphia.
